There's nothing like shopping in a relaxed, slow-paced small town where the
environment is inviting and the local business owners have time to chat with you and really show they're glad you're in their shop.
Those were exactly my thoughts as I walked inside this quaint art consignment
shop known as "Stones, Bones and Wood" right next door to The Pantry Restaurant.
Green Mountain Falls is not well-known for it's "window shopping"
opportunities or for gigantic and impersonal shopping malls,
but there are quite a few interesting locally-owned business next to Gazebo Lake that are worthy of exploration.
"Stones, Bones and Wood" offers a wide selection of handmade jewelry,
fine art, gemstones, minerals, woodwork and local honey, almost all created by local artisans in the community. Their phone number is (719) 684-2291.
